AI · macros checked by math

AI meal prep planner

Tell it your target and what you like. It drafts batch recipes from a real ingredient database; the site then calculates every calorie from USDA data, so you can see exactly how close each container lands.

Don't know your numbers? Calculate them; they'll fill in here automatically.

Recipes appear here with a container diagram, per-box macros and how far each lands from your target.

Why the AI doesn't do the math

Language models are good at recipe ideas and bad at arithmetic: ask one for "a 650-calorie chicken bowl" and the number it quotes is often a guess. So this planner splits the job. The AI chooses ingredients and gram amounts, but only from a fixed list of foods with USDA FoodData Central nutrition. The site then adds up the calories and macros itself and shows you the gap to your target, in plain numbers.

If a recipe comes back 10% over, nudge it: halve the oil or trim 20 g of rice. The container calculator and the prep schedule both work with saved AI recipes.

Questions people ask

How does the AI meal prep planner work?

You give it a calorie and macro target and any preferences. The AI proposes batch-cooking recipes using only ingredients from our nutrition database, with raw gram amounts per container. The calories and macros you see are then calculated by the site from USDA-based values, not taken from the AI, so the numbers are checkable.

Is the AI meal planner free?

Yes, with no account. There is a fair-use limit of a few generations every ten minutes so the service stays free for everyone.

Can it handle vegetarian or dairy-free diets?

Yes. Choose a diet or describe it in the preferences box (for example "no pork, dairy-free"). Always check ingredient labels yourself if you have an allergy; the AI can make mistakes.

Can I add AI recipes to my weekly plan?

Yes. Press "Add to my planner" and the recipe appears in the planner, grocery list and prep schedule, stored only in your browser.
