Privacy, in plain words
No accounts, no database
MealPrep HQ has no sign-up and no server-side storage of your plan. Your recipes, container counts, macro targets, units and any AI-built recipes you saved are kept in your browser's localStorage under the key mphq:v1. They never leave your device unless you use an AI feature.
AI features
The AI recipe builder, the recipe-to-grocery-list reader and the "Ask the prep cook" box send only what you type or paste (plus your macro numbers for the recipe builder) to a language model through Vercel AI Gateway, to produce the answer. We don't attach your identity and don't keep the text. Don't paste anything personal.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly counter of page views and referrers. It does not build a profile of you.
Clear your data
This removes your saved plan, targets and saved recipes from this browser.
Health note
Calorie and macro numbers are estimates for planning. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or manage allergies, check your plan with a registered dietitian or doctor.
